Pia Gynell-Jorgensen is a visual artist working largely with oil paints, graphite and coloured oil pencils. Her work ranges from larger-scaled abstract colour fields in oil paint, to intricately detailed graphite surrealist dreamscapes, that serve as a strange and intimate tableaus. As a freelance illustrator, she also endeavours to collaborate with musicians to elevate the relationship between the visual and sonic arts, on projects like festival branding, album art, and gig posters.
